Here is some of my work from Journalism 425: Multimedia Editing and Design. This class allowed me to learn new software such as Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign. Learning these allowed me to be creative and learn new techniques for showing visuals in my work as a journalist. 

Assignment #1

This was my first assignment in Adobe Illustrator. I had a lot of fun with this because it challenged me to use a new software I haven't used before. It also allowed me to be creative and show visually who I am. This assignment was designed to allow us to build upon our skills that we had learned in lecture and lab. 

Lab Activity

This was a practice assignment in class that I really enjoyed creating. The goal was to learn the basics of Adobe Illustrator and be able to use those skills for the first assignment. While I became inpatient at times because I didn't know all the features of Illustrator, I was learning on how to apply these for future use, and I'm glad I did.
